SFX members are given units with no AC; no elevator service and in a building being painted ! We are Wyndham owners and were transferred to a Wyndham unit in a modern building. Never trade through SFX again.

The location of the resort (intersection of two major thoroughfares) was excellent. Our 1BR unit was very roomy. Unit was spotless, quiet, and with great view. Very nice exercise area.

We love steamboat because the people there are really nice and it's a beautiful mountain. The bus service was really nice and having free ski storage was a plus.

I am very disappointed with the Village at Steamboat and with SFX, the Village at Steamboat is a very nice place but the part of the resort that they put people in from SFX is a DUMP and they all know it and so do you guys. There was no AC, no elevator, the place had no kitchen equipment, it was poorly cleaned and the staff would treat you differently if you were staying in this building, When I went to complain about this building they told me that SFX is not a good place to trade with because you are get the Trashing places. AND guess what in the last two times we have traded with SFX we have had low class accommodations the last two times that we have traded with you guys. We trade a class 5 resort into your business and in return we have gotten to class 1 resorts. This needs to change or we will no longer do business with this company

Suggestion: Get at least a two or three bedroom unit, even if you do not need it as the unit will offer a better view and better privacy.
My wife and I visited this resort about three years ago. We had a 1 bedroom unit. The units are spacious, each with a full kitchen, living room, washer and dryer, and two bathrooms. They do not have air conditioning, but on Maui you probably do not need it. They have plastic hanging blinds which offer very little privacy, especially if you have the windows open.
