The grounds of the Hilton Hawaiian Village (of which Lagoon Towers is a part) are amazing. We stayed in a 1-bedroom unit in Lagoon Towers; we had a great view of the marina from our 6th floor unit. The lay-out of the room though was not at all as expected; kitchen was its own separate room (more like a large closet), not part of the living area with an eat-on counter as pictured on website. For a 4-day stay, it worked though. We enjoyed the Friday night hula show and fireworks.

The Grand Luxxe is everything you want in a luxury resort. We have stayed in several different resorts in the Riviera Maya area and this is by far the best. It\'s the best of the best. The other properties onsite all fall below this one. The accommodations are beyond fabulous and the fact that it is not all-inclusive is a plus. The restaurants on the property are far better than anything at the all-inclusive resorts and the prices are reasonable. We actually spent less for a family of four staying here and eating out than we did at our favorite all-inclusive where the food and drinks were no where near as good.

I have stayed at Pueblo Bonita twice for aprox. 10 days each time. Clean well maintained resort - granted it is a bit older but very well kept up. Staff is awesome - friendly and accommodating. Best pool side games - so much fun!!! Wish I had another trip planned to look forward to- I love this resort.
